I actually encountered him twice, with the most recent meeting during Thanksgiving break. It was a cold day, and he was sleeping on the street, well-covered. He appeared to be in deep thought, so I observed him from the opposite flower bed for about 10-15 minutes. A lady approached him, bent down, and gave him some money. After she left, I squatted down next to him and asked if he needed a tent or a sleeping bag, as I saw that he didn’t have either. He waved his hands and said he was busy.
